The cultural space of the village of Nùng An

Traditional craft crafting is one of the oldest craft professions, closely associated with the production and livelihood of the Nùng An people in Quảng Uyên, Cao Bằng Province.

Heat from the coal furnace is used to heat iron, steel to its proper state, then the skilled craftsman uses the techniques of hammering, beating, bending and shaping to craft into labor tools such as knives, razors, axes and many other objects used in everyday life.

Over the generations, the craft not only met the basic needs of the community but also contributed to the preservation of folk knowledge, craftsmanship and traditional cultural identity of the Nanyang people in the High Plains.
