The Feast of the Feast of the Cardinal

The Festival of Fire Dance of the Patterns in Tân Tịnh Province of Tuyên Quang is held on October 16 every year, when the harvest season is over, to thank the god and wish a new year of peace, health, and harvest.

The festival consisted of two main parts that took place continuously, the preparation space for the festival was arranged a large wooden plank (usually hardwood to make more charcoal) burned in the middle of the courtyard, besides the crib consisting of vines, chicken, wine, gold coins and a crib (called the Dirt Table). Ritual: The monk begins to sit down to perform the ceremony, play the harp and recite the hymns to ask for the gods, the natives, and invite the "mothers" to enter the boys to participate in the fire dance. In the chorus, the trumpet and the chorus, the activities last about 1-2 hours, creating a sacred, subdued space. In that space, the brilliant young man participates in the performance with beautiful dances of charcoal and fire.

The Festival of Fire Dance is not only a spiritual ceremony but also symbolizes the courage, extraordinary strength and natural conquest spirit of the Cardinals community here.
