Public art performance program in Thanh Hoa Province

The 2026 Cultural Day of the Peoples of Thanh Hoa Province is scheduled to be held from 22 to 24 November at Lam Sơn Square, Hue Thanh, with the theme of Cultural Blackness of Thanh.

The cultural, artistic clubs of the municipalities, squares on the territory of Thanh Hoa Province perform special artistic programs of the local, community. 

The day is celebrated on Vietnamese Cultural Day 24.11, coinciding with Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day 23.11 and the National Day of National Unity 18.11.

The event featured the participation of 7 ethnic groups including Qing, Mường, Thai, Dao, Turkish, Mong and Khú Mú from 166 communes, located on the territory of Thanh Hoa province.

The aim of the day is to introduce, promote the cultural values, heritage and traditions of peoples; at the same time, to create a space for people, artists to directly participate in the preservation, demonstration and transmission of traditional cultural values.

The highlight of the day is the opening ceremony scheduled to take place from 20:00 on 22 November at the Lam Son Square stage and will be televised live.

According to the plan, the opening art program, entitled "Cultural Darkness of Thanh", lasts about 90 minutes, consisting of three chapters.

Chapter 1 The historical flow and cultural origins of Thanh, using lighting technology, laser combination drumming, choral dancing, dance and songs about Thanh Hóa's homeland to recreate the cultural sedimentary layers of Thanh land.

Chapter 2 The Cultural Colours of Thanh, focuses on presenting features of the cultural life of peoples through performances, re-enactments of intangible cultural heritage. Artists, actors and people of the provincial ethnic group directly participate in the performance.

Chapter 3 The Song of Solomon and the Song of Solomon, using songs about the Song of Solomon and the country to express their transition, the development of the local in the general flow of the country.

The stage is expected to be designed with multiple layers of space, combining LEDs, lights and lasers. The music is harmonized in a way that combines harmony with folk instruments.

It is expected that around 500 artisans, mass performers and members of traditional folk culture clubs from the municipalities, municipalities and municipalities will participate in the activities of the festival. Several artists, including the Central singer, are also expected to be invited to perform at the opening ceremony.

During the three days of the event, Lam Son Square will be organized as a space for experiencing and demonstrating the culture of peoples.
