The Tree of Life Contest

The Chau People's Committee presides over the coordination of the units involved in organizing the Chau Tree Competition held in the Chau River area, which recreates the image associated with floating market trade. The Cau Bè Tree Competition is one of the special activities within the framework of the Festival of Culture - Tourism of the Old East Village of Ho Chi Minh City (Dòng Tháp Province), aimed at recreating the cultural beauty and commercial image characteristic of the floating Western market.

The Cau Bè tree contest is set in the Cau Bè River space, the former floating market area, on November 20, 2026. The name is attached to the image of the plant in the river-bought culture of the Southeast Missouri River basin; this is a way of interpreting the cultural context, not the approved text. The contest recreates the images of the fountains that are filled with local crops, fruits and rivers, contributing to the preservation, honoring the unique lifestyle and attracting visitors to the heritage of the ancient village of Hòa Hiệp.

- The time is November 20, 2026.
