First place national football championship 2026/27

The 2026/27 National First Division Football League (officially known as the Sacombank V.League 2 2026/27) is a multi-point season, officially launched on 11 September 2026, and scheduled to close on 17 May 2027.

The highlight of this season was the increase in the number of teams competing to 14. The clubs will play two rounds (home and away) with a total of 26 matches, equivalent to 182 matches. The promotion, relegation and relegation of this season are judged to be extremely intense: the top two teams in the standings will earn direct promotion to play in the V.League 1 season 2027/28, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to play in the National Second Division.

The change in the direct promotion and relegation mechanism promises to create fierce competition in both the top of the standings throughout the season.
