The Golden Season Festival of North Shandong

The Bai Son Golden Season Tourism Festival is a cultural, tourism event in Bai Son Village, Liang Son Province, honoring the beauty of the nine rice fields in the middle of the valley and the cultural identity of the Tai, Nùng people. With the theme of the Golden Season of North Sơn - The Integration of Heritage and Nature, the festival offers many activities exploring landscapes, experiencing community life and learning about the heritage values associated with UNESCO's Liang Sơn Global Geological Park.

The highlights of the festival are the activities of harvesting rice, grinding rice with traditional tools, experiencing One Day as a Northern Golden Season Farmer, baking and processing folk cuisine. Visitors are immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of skateboarding competitions, SUP riding, snorkeling, duck fishing and folk games; enjoying artistic kite shows, sightseeing and photography amidst the golden season space.

The Tai ethnic cultural space features dancing, dancing, dancing, puppet dancing, traditional costume performances and the experience of painting, textiles and crafts. The country market exhibits OCOP products, agricultural products, handicrafts and signature dishes such as stews, black cakes, workshops, contributing to the introduction of local culture and taste.

In particular, in the framework of the 2026 festival there are a series of 03 presentation competitions for students, including: Student donation for the secondary school block, held on the morning of 02/11/2026; Secondary Secretary for the elementary school block, held on the morning of 03/11/2026; Secondary Guide for the elementary school block, held on the afternoon of 03/11/2026. The competitions take place on the main stage of the Golden Winter Festival, the Quynh Son Community Tourism Village, the Bắc Son Municipality, creating a playground for students to express ideas, train their presentation skills and confidence.

The tour programs connect the Quỳnh Sơn Community Tourism Village, the Sunshine Point, the UNESCO Lạng Sơn Global Geological Park Gallery, the pristine rainforest and tourist attractions on site. Cycling activities, electric tours, camping, community arts socializing, the 2026 North Sơn Ultra Trail Race and the bicycle race exploring the golden season offer many options for visitors.

The festival contributes to the preservation of traditional culture, promoting the image of the friendly, welcoming and tourism development associated with the livelihood of the local community.
